Here you can read comparison and reviews, 2015 Ford Atlas vs. 2015 Toyota Tundra.
Short review about 2015 Ford Atlas
The 2015 Ford Atlas will be a vanguard of Ford’s 13th generation pickup trucks, due to be released somewhere in late 2014. or early 2015. When speaking about pickups, Ford F-series is crème de la crème, having a tradition of nearly 70 years of production. True, Atlas is still considered only a concept, but judging by the first glimpses of it during 2014. North American International Auto Show in Detroit, it is clear that nothing or very little will be changed (at least in exterior) when it finally gets to the streets.
Atlas is actually a new generation F-150 and will surely have very similar engine. It is expected that Atlas, will be powered by a „Next generation“ 2.7-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V-6 engine with start-stop system and 320 hp. It has one very admirable feature that will improve fuel economy by up to 2 mpg. It has active grille shutters that close when cooling requirements are low, all in favor of better aerodynamics. Some of the other features include a 360-degree camera that is very usefull when it comes to low speed maneuvers, hidden cargo ramps located under the bed floor, tailgate step, roof-carrying system etc.
But, couple of the most useful features of Ford Atlas are Dynamic Hitch Assist that allows the driver to allign the ball and hitch using the rear camera and Trailer Backup Assist which greatly helps inexperienced drivers in backing up a trailer to its parking spot. With smart usage of aluminum, weight is supposed to be reduced by up to 700 pounds. Some expect the price to be around $30,000, but as it usually goes, it might be slightly higher when it eventually comes of the factory lines.

2015 Toyota Tundra – specs and review
Toyota launched its third generation of Tundra pickup truck in 2013 which comes with three types of engines (4.0-liter V6, 4.6-liter V8 and 5.7-liter V8). For 2015, they are planning to release Toyota Tundra TRD (Toyota Racing Development) Pro Series which will target the off road users. It will come with the strongest 5.7-liter V8 engine with 380 hp and 400 pound-feet of torque. Also, it will only be available on the CrewMax body style and will come in three colors: Inferno, Black and Super White. Since it is a pickup that will be oriented towards off road driving, it will come with a bit softer suspention and 1.5-inch lift. 2015 Toyota Tundra will have the same features as its predecesors.
It is the same generation after all. It greatly emhasises safety (which Toyota always does) and comes with a plethora of safety features like: dual front airbags, front row side torso airbags and rollover sensing side curtain airbags. It also comes with Vehicle stability and traction control, anti-lock brakes, brake assist, and electronic brakeforce distribution. Since lowest price CrewMax body with the strongest engine doesn’t come cheaper than 32 000 US$, it is unrealistic to expect that 2015 Tundra’s price will be lower than $40,000.
2015 Ford Atlas vs. 2015 Toyota Tundra – Conclusion
Ford Atlas and Toyota Tundra are hard to compare even though they might just fall into similar price range. If you are interested in one of these, you might want to make a decision depending on what you want, fuel economy of Atlas or raw off road power of Tundra. You won’t make mistake in any other case.
